D-Cubed: A Review of Dissemination Strategies used by Projects Funded by the ALTC Grants Scheme was led by Deanne Gannaway  (The University of Queensland) and Tilly Hinton(University of the Sunshine Coast), and supported by Project Officer, Kaitlin Moore, and Research Officer, Bianca Berry.  The D-Cubed Project explored the effectiveness of dissemination for Australian Learning and Teach Council (ALTC) Grants Scheme projects in the period 2006 to 2009 and has developed a range of resources to support future applicants.

Action Research Journal

Action Research is an new international, interdisciplinary, peer reviewed, quarterly published refereed journal which is a forum for the development of the theory and practice of action research. Media Map Project

The Media Map Project, a multi-faceted research collaboration between Internews and The World Bank Institute, has made 25 data sets related to media and development available for public download and analysis.  The data collectively touch on every country in the world and up to 30 years’ worth of information is available to the public through the website. Visualizations on the site allow viewers to interact with and test the data in different ways.

Figure/Ground Communication

Figure/Ground was launched to bring media ecologists, phenomenologists, philosophers and critics of technology into a conversation in the spirit of interdisciplinary studies and methodological pragmatism. The Figure/Ground scholarly interview series features in-depth conversations with emerging and established scholars in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences about career choices, research interests, pedagogical issues and the changing nature of scholarship and academia in an “age of interruption” characterized by fractured attention and information overload.
